How the Central Workforce Development Region Changed Lives Through the EDA Good Jobs Challenge Grant
The Central Region’s EDA Good Jobs Challenge trained 700+ Missourians for in-demand careers in healthcare, CDL, and warehousing.
In partnership with the City of Springfield’s Department of Workforce Development and regional collaborators, the Central Region focused on 19 counties across Missouri, providing skill development in healthcare, CDL, and warehouse training.
Through partnerships with Boone Health, Job Point, Moberly Area Community College, State Fair Community College, and Clement Truck Driving Academy, more than 700 participants gained the tools needed to succeed in in-demand industries.
